The Trump government, after denying Visa to the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, weighs new restrictions on delegations from Iran, Sudan, Zimbabwe – and even Brazil – prior to the UN general meeting later in New York.
According to an internal Ministry of Foreign Affairs assessed by the Associated Press, the restrictions can come into effect before the General Meeting meets on 22 September.
The recording of Brazil is the most surprising, because the country traditionally has a place of honor during the meeting of world leaders.

The measures are still being considered and when the Trump administration continues its broader visa performance and both the current visa holders and those looking for the UN meeting assessed.
One proposal would be Iranian diplomats – who are already confronted with tight limitations in New York – from shopping in wholesale stores such as Costco and Sam’s Club without approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Iranian diplomats have long used those stores to buy bulk products at home and to send them back at relatively low costs.

It remains unclear whether and when the store channel will come into force. The memo proposed to set rules with which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs could impose conditions on the wholesalers memberships for all foreign diplomats in the US.
It is also unclear whether any restrictions would apply to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva or other delegates who attend the general meeting.
Traditionally, the president of Brazil delivers the first address on the opening day, followed by the US president.
