It was announced through a court that Donald Trump dropped his lawsuit against the DES Moines Register and the former poll star Ann Seltzer during a survey that they performed in 2024 that Kamala Harris showed that the State led.
The submission stated: “Plaintiffs President Donald J. Trump, representative Mariannette Miller-Meks, and former senator Bradley Zaun, report their exit of this action without prejudice on the basis of the federal rule of civil proceedings 41 (1) (a) (i).”
Seltzer and the newspaper did not pay $ 20 million to his ‘presidential library’, or did not apologize. The defendants did not have to go on a settlement with Trump/ or to give him nothing at all.
Donald Trump even has absolutely nothing.
Dropping the Iowa Poll right case is newsworthy because it shows what can happen if the media does not give in to Trump’s threats and lawsuits.
Trump was not paid off, so he dropped the case because he knew nothing was there and he could not win.
Standing up for the first amendment and not arranging fake rights, used to be normal for the media, but a series of companies bowed his knee for Trump and established lawsuits that they knew they were fake because they wanted to get on the right side of Trump.
The right thing to do in all these cases was to tell Trump to kick stones. 60 minutes did nothing wrong, but the parent company of CBS works out a scheme with Trump because they have a piece of merger company for which they need Trump administration.
Large companies and regular media have sold out the first amendment and journalistic independence to Trump.
The Tribune Company, which owns the Des Moines register, and Seltzer did not do that, and that is why Trump does not run away with anything.
Trump’s efforts to manipulate the poll through intimidation has failed because rising again against the bullying turns out to be the best strategy.
