My first thought is that I simply don’t believe President Trump will accept any of these Iranian offers that could open the Strait of Hormuz but not end Tehran’s nuclear capabilities or even the regime’s nuclear ambitions. Iran is hanging by a thread. Everyone knows that. No oil, no money.
The economic blockade is killing them. Their oil infrastructure could be forced to shut down in the coming weeks due to storage limits. There is a shortage of gasoline. There is reportedly triple-digit inflation. Their currency is worthless. This is the stuff of revolution, not negotiation.
Our military attacks have probably destroyed 80 to 85 percent of their defense and industrial infrastructure, including their nuclear capabilities. It may take a little longer, but I expect that along with the economic embargo, we are headed for additional military fighting to get the job done and end the war.
Working with our Israeli allies, the so-called new leadership of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will not be long in coming to this world. Iranians may like to string us along. Yet Mr. Trump is not President Biden or President Obama, he will not allow endless bogus negotiations.
And I continue to believe that there must be unconditional surrender. And the only agreement would be that whoever remains in the so-called Iranian leadership will take Mr. Trump’s diktat on a complete end to nuclear facilities, a transfer of enriched uranium from Iran to America – all under the supervision and verification of our top scientists at the Energy Department.
They lay down their arms, open the Strait of Hormuz, stop all state-sponsored terrorism, either directly or through proxies, and so on and so forth. That’s the deal. Dictate unconditionally.
