Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell claimed he saw ex-New York Jets head coach Adam Gase use cocaine in his office “more than once.”
In an episode of the “Respectfully The Justin Laboy Show” posted Sunday, Bell called Gase the “dumbest” and “worst coach ever” before making serious accusations.
Gase “did a lot of things in that office that coaches shouldn’t do,” Bell claimed before exaggeratedly blowing his nose. “We’re about to start practice, brother!…This is what you’re doing here?”
“You didn’t see him snorting coke, man,” Laboy replied.
“With my own two [eyes]Bell said. “Hey, but not just once.”
Fast forward to 54:40 for the gas segment:
“I just thought it was crazy to actually see him do it,” the ex-player continued. “I’ve heard all the stories and stuff. Yeah, I think Adam Gase is working on that cocaine. …He was fried and called them plays. It was fried.”
Gase went 9-23 during his short tenure with the Jets. Last year, he was hired as an assistant coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.

Bell, who had done that several productive seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, played for Gase in the 2019 season and part of 2020. He played in his final NFL game in 2021 onwards forged a 2-1 record as a professional boxer.
Bell was ordered in 2025 To pay $25 million in incest case brought by a cousin. He said he was innocent and was denied a fair trial.
