CBS Sports football host Kate Scott had to deal with her own match situation in the form of a sensitive wardrobe malfunction. (Watch the video below.)
During Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League coverage, Scott reached out to fellow panelist Clint Dempsey when her dress tore apart under her arm.
“I just broke my top,” she declared with a nervous giggle as she held the material in place. She apparently called someone offstage to help her.
Her fellow panellists – former football stars Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Dempsey – couldn’t contain their laughter.
Like a true professional, Scott held her grip on the tear and resumed her commentary. She noted a ‘blockbuster match tonight in the Spanish capital’ (Real Madrid beat Juventus 1-0) and more to come on ‘Italian football’.
She then put the show into a commercial break.
It was a recovery that any team, including the broadcaster, would be proud of. She also shared the viral moment on her Instagram account.
