Many Americans have taken the wrong meaning from the national belief that anyone can be president. What this inspiring myth wants to suggest is that the United States is a land of opportunity for all. The sky is the limit. There is no ceiling on what can be achieved in America.
As the American people have discovered, equal opportunity does not really exist, and there are certainly limits to the vast majority and what they can achieve.
There was also another meaning to the idea that anyone can be president. The idea that anyone can serve as president.
Donald Trump has now proven twice that not everyone can do this job, and the American people have noticed.
According to a new one Fox News poll:
More than six in ten say Trump doesn’t care about people like them. The 37% who say they care is down from a record 44% in 2024.
Another 55% say Trump does not have the mental health to serve. That’s an increase of 7 points since the end of 2024 and near a high of 56% in 2023. By comparison, 65% said former President Biden did not have the mental health to be president around the time he dropped his reelection campaign in July 2024.
So far during his second administration, Donald Trump has fallen asleep during Oval Office events several times. Republicans are increasingly convinced they are doomed in the midterm elections. Trump has imposed tariffs that have devastated the American economy and started a war in the Middle East that has added to the economic carnage.
Trump is declining and cannot handle the presidency. His decline is getting worse every day.
The media chooses to ignore it, even as Trump puts his downfall in writing and documents it for the whole world to see.
