The Ministry of Justice (DOJ) and its Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are committed to maintain the rule of law and to defend the safety of the American people against deadly, illegal drugs. No drug remains a greater threat to our nation than fentanyl – a synthetic opioid so powerful, deadly and penetrating that it is the most important cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45. But we cannot ignore the growing range of very addictive and dangerous methamphetamine.
The Mexican cartels have created an enormous global supply chain, which preliminary surchemicals from countries such as China Sourcing, Fentanyl and Methamfetamine in secret laboratories in Mexico in the border of the United States. These drugs flood our communities and their impact is catastrophic. Current CDC data estimates that 82,000 Americans died of drugs overdose last year – almost 49,000 from Fentanyl and more than 30,000 from psychostimulants, including Meth.
Although we have seen a decrease in the death of overdoses in recent months, we cannot ignore the threat of fentanyl, often in other medicines and fake pills. The cartels also produce methamphetamine pills made to look as Adderall or MDMA, drugs that are popular with young adults. Fentanyl and methamphetamine together are toxic evidence that the cartels have no value for human life.
Trump-Supporting Fentanyl Act will put an end to ‘Cat and Mouse’ with human dealers, Say Attorneys Say
The mission of DEA is clear and it confronts this crisis. DEA is unparalleled in developing, interpreting and acting on intelligence. In full coordination, the DOJ is fully committed to the prosecution of criminals who are in possession of this dangerous and deadly drug-including every Fentanyl-related substance-in the full extent of the law.

Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, the Doj and the DEA Execute of Operation Take Back America, an aggressive campaign to dismantle the criminal organizations responsible for Fentanyl and other synthetic opioids – an unprecedented step to take back our communities and save American life.
Since January 20, DEA has seized more than 44 million fentanyl pills and 4,500 pounds of fentanyl powder, which represent more than 180 million deadly doses and more than 68,000 pounds of methamphetamine. Every attack is a rescued life. Every arrest removes a human dealer from the distribution chain. Every operation sends a message: the United States will not tolerate this attack on its citizens.
Rubio announces new visa restrictions for families of Fentanyl traders
Our campaign is legal, methodical and ruthless. The DEA works under a robust framework of legal authorities designed to confront the entire spectrum of drug -related crimes. Title 21 authorizes the federal persecution of manufacturers of medicines and distributors. Rico statutes enable us to dismantle criminal companies.
Laws regarding assets -Furial statement enable us to rid human traffickers of the financial life administration of their activities. International extradition agreements ensure that no foreign human dealer falls outside the reach of American justice. Each tool is used in coordination with the offices of American lawyers, in complete compliance with constitutional protection and federal evidence standards.
To mention only a few of the recent attacks by Fentanyl and Methamfetamine in the country:
- In Lexington County, South Carolina, DEA, in coordination with his state and local partners, 156 pound fentanyl, 44 pound methamphetamine, a firearm and bulk currency of a previously deported foreign national.
Liberal News Outlet was mocked for reporting over ‘mysterious’ drop in Fentanyl that flows across the border

- In Galveston, Texas, DEA helped discover more than 1,700 pound methamphetamine in close coordination with its federal partners at CBP – worth more than $ 15 million dollars – hidden in a vehicle.
Our campaign is legal, methodical and ruthless. The DEA works under a robust framework of legal authorities designed to confront the entire spectrum of drug -related crimes.
- In Austin, Texas, DEA, in coordination with his FBI, state and local partners, 783 pounds methamphetamine hidden in a cooled truck with blueberries.
Each of these operations emphasizes the crucial need to attack the supply chain of the medicine at every level.
Bondi announces one of the largest fentanyl attacks in American history
Our strategy is not limited to arrests and attacks. On July 16, Trump signed De Halt Fentanyl Act in the law, which will strengthen the penalties for fentanyl dealers and prevent chemists from creating new synthetic connections to bypass persecution.
In the direction of Trump, the administration has revitalized the coordination of interagency coordination. The Doj and the DEA work shoulder-to-shoulder with American customs and border protection, Homeland Security Investigations, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firewarms and Explosives and Federal Procedors to guarantee uniform case development of interdiction. The president also authorized the use of diplomatic pressure, economic sanctions and trade fines to hold foreign nations responsible for the chemicals that feed this crisis.

The DOJ also gives priority to improved penalties for human trafficking in serious physical injury or death. We continue not only the dealers, but also the Enablers, those who launch money, offer logistical support or serve as brokers between chemical suppliers and cartels. If you benefit from this poison, you will face the full power of American justice.
As a result of the designation of Trump of eight large cartels such as foreign terrorist organizations, we are now using new tools and accuse human traffickers with material support for terrorism, an indictment that occurs in prison.
Some fentanyl dealers would be accused of crime murder under new account
Along the walls at Dea’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, thousands of faces are lost by Fentanyl. These faces remember why we do this work. Every name, every story feeds our determination to eliminate these cartels and criminal networks and to protect our communities.

President Trump has made it clear abundantly: the sovereignty of our nation starts with safe boundaries and safe communities. The era of open borders and medicines that flow over it is over. The federal government is back in violation.

The American people earn a legal system that protects their families against the violence of drug trafficking and the horror of the death of an overdose. That is what the dea and doj deliver.
