Guests must be 21 years old and have a valid identification to consume alcohol at the mouth and barrel. There is a 45 -minute time limit for guests, and each guest can only consume a maximum of two alcoholic beverages.

“It’s not just a bar,” James Kleinschmidt, culinary director for concept development for Walt Disney World, said. “We are inspired by pirates that sail across the seven seas, things you would see from their travels, or they would experience, herbs, things like that.”

Kleinschmidt, who has been a cast member for 28 years, says that there is something for everyone at the mouth and the barrel is something.

“One of my favorites is the Ube and Cake Pop board, with the cannonball and the gold-raised caramel corn,” he said about the non-alcoholic specialty drink called the Treasure Trove. “It is a great mix and match of a drink and a number of sweet items that go with it.”
