Tech billionaire Elon Musk threatened to sue Apple because he was not an X – formerly Twitter – or his grock artificial intelligence Chatbot under the “must-have apps” in the Apple Store.
“Hey @apple App Store, why do you refuse to place 𝕏 or grock in your ‘must have’ section when 𝕏 The #1 news app is in the world and grock is #5 under all apps?” Musk, who bought Twitter in October 2022, wrote on the platform that he renamed Since X.
‘Do you play politics? What gives? Asking spirits want to know, ” Musk added Monday evening, without working out.

Musk, who founded SpaceX and Tesla, led the Ministry of Government Efficiency (Doge) earlier this year for a public fall-out with President Donald Trump earlier this year.
Apple has a partnership with OpenAi to integrate Chatgpt into its intelligence ecosystem.
Musk was co-founder and early donor of OpenAI in 2015, but left his board in 2018. He founded his own artificial intelligence company, Xai, in 2023. In March 2024, Musk Sam Altman and Greg Brockman of OpenAi sued and was the original non-profit mission and these donations were building a “for-PP-Prit Monopoly.”

In the “Top Free Apps” section of the Apple Store, Chatgpt was arranged from the start of Tuesday – followed by the dating advice from Teaonher; Tea dating advice; And Threads – which serves as the competitor of Meta for X. Parentsquare was arranged in fifth place, while Grok – AI Assistant was on the number 6. Google was mentioned seventh.
Google Gemini – the AI assistant of Google – arranged 64th from Tuesday morning.
In the Google Play Store – available on Android devices – Chatgpt has the top free app – followed by Tiktok, Temu, WhatsApp Messenger, Instagram and Threads. Grok is number 28 in the list of 45 top -free apps that are available on devices that exclude the iPhone.

In June, a federal judge in New Jersey refused to dismiss the motion of Apple to dismiss a case last year accused the company of unlawful enforcement of dominance on the American smartphone market, partly through a Restricting Appstore policy. Apple submitted a detailed refutation in July, with the argument that the DOJ fundamentally misunderstands or can be deliberately held incorrectly – his business practices, product design and ecosystem, with reference to a potentially horrifying effect on innovation.
