Costco has reportedly launched a new line of food products, continuing its strategy of regularly refreshing its offerings.
The retail giant, which typically introduces new products monthly, has added a mix of sweet and savory products ranging from pastries and desserts to ready-made meals. to food and wine.
New items reportedly spotted in stores include Filled Heart Madeleines; Matcha & Chocolate Sandwich Cookies; Bags of turkey, pesto and Swiss cheese; Meatball Panino Italian sandwiches; Chinese BBQ style beef short ribs; kimchi pancakes and a Valentine’s Day-themed version of the Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake.

Stuffed Heart Madeleines
Costco seems to be celebrating Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped madeleines. The soft, buttery sponge cakes are filled with raspberry or chocolate-hazelnut flavors.
Matcha & Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
Costco has introduced new sandwich cookies featuring Kyoto Uji matcha and Valrhona chocolate. The box contains 12 individually wrapped cookies and costs about $15.
Chinese beef short ribs on the barbecue
Ruprecht’s BBQ-Style Chinese Beef Short Ribs offer a ready-to-cook option using USDA Choice beef. The short ribs contain 12 grams of protein per serving and are finished in a char siu-like sauce.

Smoking chocolate mousse cake
While not entirely new, Costco’s Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake is getting a Valentine’s Day makeover from the bakery, according to Food & Wine.
The dessert – which appeared to be covered in the word “love” in at least one store – consists of layers of chocolate cake, chocolate and white chocolate mousse, brownie pieces and chocolate sauce.
Meatball Panino
Costco’s Meatball Panino Italian-style stuffed sandwiches pack beef and pork meatballs, marinara and mozzarella into a portable option, priced at about $11 for two.
Crispy kimchi pancake
Costco’s new ready-to-eat kimchi pancakes feature spicy fermented kimchi and squid chunks and can be quickly pan-cooked.

Pockets of turkey, pesto and Swiss cheese
La Boulangerie has added a new frozen bakery product to Costco’s lineup. Each croissant pocket contains 13 grams of protein and is filled with roasted turkey, Swiss cheese and basil pesto.
