The cracks in Trump’s Epstein cover-up have been forming and growing for months. Next week will finally be the time when it all comes to light.
None of this would have happened without four Republicans in the House of Representatives defying Trump and signing the discharge petition to force a vote on legislation that would force the DOJ to release the records.
Without the Democratic representatives, the Democrats would not have met the required signatures. Massie, Greene, Boebert and Mace stand by their decision and do not give in to pressure from Trump to remove their names from the discharge petition.
The vote in the House of Representatives will take place this week, and although the documents will not be released by the House of Representatives, a significant vote will put pressure on the Senate to also vote on the measure. If the bill were to pass the Senate, Trump would be forced to veto it, bringing his Epstein cover-up into the open.
Rep. Thomas Massie was on ABC’s this week where he was asked, “President Trump fought long and hard to prevent your resignation request from going forward. You won that battle. What happens now? How many Republicans in the House of Representatives will follow your lead and defy the president on this issue?”
