This new Marjorie Taylor Greene is something different.
Donald Trump is desperate to prevent Republicans in the House of Representatives from voting to force the DOJ to release the Epstein files. Why Trump is so desperate to stop Republicans on a piece of legislation that, if it landed on his desk, he could simply veto is a bit of a mystery, but the suspicion is that Trump doesn’t want to be put in the position of openly defending Epstein by vetoing the bill.
On Friday evening, Trump made his attempt to get Greene out of his party by posting the following on his social media site:
I withdraw my support and endorsement for “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Despite my record achievements for our country in recent weeks, including a total and complete victory over the shutdown, closed borders, low taxes, no men in women’s sports or transgender for all, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s record inflation, the largest regulatory cuts in history, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our military, being respected by every country in the world (instead of being the laughingstock we were just 12 months ago!), with trillions of dollars (records!) INVESTED in the US, and after creating the “HOTTEST” country anywhere in the world from a DEAD country just 12 months ago (and counting!), all I see from “crazy” Marjorie is COMPLAINTS, COMPLAINTS, COMPLAINTS! It all seemed to start when I sent her a poll saying she shouldn’t run for senator or governor, she was at 12% and had no chance (unless of course she had my endorsement – which she had no intention of getting!).
She’s told a lot of people that she’s upset that I don’t answer her calls anymore, but with 219 members of Congress, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet members, almost 200 countries, and an otherwise normal life to live, I can’t take a tirade from Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, conservative people are considering nominating Marjorie in her Georgia district, that they too are fed up with her and her antics, and that if the right person runs for office, they will have my full and unyielding support. She has gone far left and is even doing The View, with their low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
On Saturday morning, Trump went a step further and posted:
Marjorie “Traitor” Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!
This is classic Trump bullying behavior. He tries to scare the other House by threatening Greene.
Representative Greene did not respond by withdrawing. She hit Trump directly in the Epstein files.
