Millions of Americans turned out for “No Kings” rallies across the country last Saturday, protesting, according to The New York Times, against a president seen by the crowd as “acting like a monarch.”
However, the success of the protests negates their cause. A monarch would have tried to disperse crowds or make important meeting places off-limits. A monarch would not have gone about his business of state while people dressed in crazy costumes, beat drums and hurled vile insults at him. A monarch…would not have been elected by a majority of the nation.
The size of the audience should not impress anyone. The protests were led by unions such as the American Federation of Teachers, which claims nearly 3 million members, and the AFL-CIO, which claims 15 million.
NATIONAL ‘NO KINGS’ PROTESTS TARGETED AT TRUMP AS CROWD GATHER IN CITIES FROM COAST TO COAST
Honest Americans should ask themselves what exactly is Trump’s policy in the White House that has people in such an uproar?
Are Americans angry that President Donald Trump has taken on the drug cartels that have flooded our nation with fentanyl and other deadly substances that have killed hundreds of thousands of our young people?
Are Americans protesting the securing of our southern border, which will no longer allow millions of undocumented immigrants to illegally crowd the schools and emergency rooms of our cities?
Are voters opposed to shrinking the size of our federal bureaucracy in an effort to control President Joe Biden’s outlandish spending?
Is it Trump’s attempts to upend our educational institution and demand better achievement for the black and brown children who are not learning to read?
And what about crime? Are most Americans unhappy that the president is trying to control our dangerous cities like Chicago?
‘IT’S A JOKE’: WHITE HOUSE REJECTS ‘NO KINGS’ PROTESTS AS NANCY PELOSI RIPS THE CROWN IN CHALLENGE
The answer to all these questions is no. Polls show that most Americans agree with President Trump’s tough policies on crime, immigration and budget cuts to the federal government.

Most of the country is also happy that the Trump White House negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, however fragile, and brought the hostages home. It’s hard to find anyone who wasn’t happy that the president ordered the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program.
And Trump’s efforts to bring manufacturing back to the United States have won him support from the unions that stand to benefit from these changes. Most voters are undoubtedly in favor of a manufacturing renaissance in our country.

What has really infuriated Democrats is that we have a president who is willing and even eager to expose their party’s widespread corruption and dishonesty.
President Trump, along with Elon Musk, exposed the complex of taxpayer-supported NGOs that support Democratic candidates and causes; NGOs, described by Musk as “fake charities,” funded by the very billionaires that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., rails against.

Billionaires like those who have supposedly poured millions of dollars into promoting the ‘No Kings’ rallies, such as the Arabella Network, the Soros Network, the Tides Foundation and many others.
The Trump White House also delves into the swamp, revealing the political origins of the Russiagate hoax, the Biden administration’s and media cronies’ attempts to censor the opposition, and Biden’s diversion of government spending to favored left-wing allies.
Biden tasked longtime Clinton apparatchik John Podesta with distributing hundreds of billions of dollars included in the Inflation Reduction Act, which were intended to fund climate initiatives. Trump’s EPA head Lee Zeldin revealed the Biden administration’s “plan to quickly park $20 billion outside the agency… we suspect some organizations have sprung up out of thin air just to take advantage.” Yes, like a group tied to left-wing political activist and election loser Stacey Abrams.
Democrats are also angry that President Trump won re-election despite a massive legal attack designed to make him unelectable. They are also angry that, despite the fact that Vice President Kamala Harris enjoyed a war chest of well over a billion dollars, Democrats were denied not only the Oval Office but also both houses of Congress. It’s an election outcome that has allowed the Republican Party to investigate the crimes of people like former FBI Director James Comey, who was up to his neck in the Russiagate affair.

Democratic leaders like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are furious that their party is in trouble and increasingly led by far-left candidates who do not reflect American values. They know that Trump currently occupies the middle of the policy spectrum. He wins when it comes to fighting transgender people competing in women’s sports and banning DEI, which is unpopular.
In Michigan, local “No Kings” organizers claimed they objected to sending immigration agents into cities, pushing for redrawing congressional maps in favor of Republicans and “hollowing out health care.” It is fair to say that aggressively arresting people illegally in the country is controversial. But sending the National Guard to protect federal property and law enforcement should not be. Meanwhile, the only new thing about the redistricting fight is that the Republican Party has gotten wise and is finally offering an answer to long-standing gerrymandering by Democrats. As for “stripping health care,” that is an issue for Congress, not the Trump White House.
Some question the legality of Trump’s attacks on suspected drug couriers from Venezuela, or the imposition of tariffs on our trading partners. His critics must be calmed through the intervention of the judiciary. Most of us have lost track of the number of cases that end up in the Supreme Court. It is not very royal-like to have to be accountable to judges.

Asked about the ‘No Kings’ meetings, the president said: ‘I am not a king, I work very hard to make our country great.’
And that’s what drives the Democrats crazy.
