Israel encouraged Palestinians to leave different areas of Gaza City as his military campaign in the enclave escalated.
Spokesperson for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for Arab media Colonel Avichay Adraee gave a warning to Palestinians in areas where Israel intended to focus. The warning included a map that shows the area and emphasizes one building. Adraee said that Israel intends to hit the area “because of the presence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or near” it.
“For your safety, you must immediately evacuate the area to the south to the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis,” said Adraee.
Adraee’s warning comes when the IDF expands its ground activities in Gaza City as part of what the Operation Gideon’s Charmots II calls.
