Russia launched a large -scale attack on Kiev at night, in which 10 people were killed, at least 38 others injured and damaged buildings, said Ukrainian officials on Thursday.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy said a child was killed in the drone and rocket attack.
“Wearing in Kiev, first aid workers, the rubble of an ordinary residential building after a Russian strike,” said Zenskyy on X.
“Russia chooses ballistics instead of the negotiating table. It chooses to keep killing instead of ending the war. And this means that Russia is still not afraid of the consequences. Russia still benefits from the fact that at least part of the world is going to crash a crush for murdered children,” he went for Putin.

Zenskyy added that it is “absolute time for new, tough sanctions against Russia for everything it does.”
“All deadlines have already been broken, dozens of opportunities for ruined diplomacy. Russia must feel responsible for every strike for every day of this war. Eternal memory of all the victims of Russia,” he said.
The Ukrainian Air Force said it had beaten 563 of 598 drones and 26 of the 31 missiles of Russia in a national attack. It said that 13 locations were hit and debris fell at 26 locations.
“Unfortunately, the style of the Russians is typical of their attacks,” wrote Tymur Tkachenko, head of the military administration of Kyiv, on Telegram.
“Combined strikes, from different directions. And systematically, focused on ordinary residential buildings,” the post added.

Civil servants said that countless buildings had been damaged, including various high -rise apartments.
In the Darnytskyi district, a five -storey building was partially destroyed and rescue teams save the rubble to captured people, Tkachenko said.
He said that emergency staff responded to the aftermath of attacks at more than 20 locations in the city.

António Costa, president of the European Council, said that he was “shocked by another night of deadly Russian rocket attacks on Ukraine.”
“My thoughts are with the Ukrainian victims and also with the staff of @eugationua, whose building was damaged in this deliberate Russian strike,” he wrote on X.
“The EU will not be intimidated. The aggression of Russia only reinforces our determination to stand with Ukraine and his people,” he added.
Separately, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that its anti -aircraft systems interrupt 102 Ukrainian drones at night.
