Frankie Muniz will have to put his second career as a racing car driver a bit on hold.
The former “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Agent Cody Banks” actor said on Thursday that he broke his wrist in a fall of a ladder. He will miss his next Nascar Craftsman Truck Series race and a few weeks later.
“The expression ‘FML’ (the life of Frankie Muniz) gets a new meaning with moments like this,” Muniz, 39, wrote on x. “I am disappointed to share that I will not race in Darlington this weekend or for the coming weeks due to a distal jet fracture.”
Muniz, who mainly focused on driving since “Malcolm” ended in 2006, tried to make the accident light.
“Yesterday I fell from the top of a ladder while I turned the batteries into a ring camera into my back garden,” he explained. “Note for itself: watch the warning from the ladder that says,” Do not sit or stand on the top step. ” In retrospect, a longer ladder would have been smarter.
“Although I missed the races, I am grateful that it wasn’t worse,” he went on. “I feel for my team, who has poured their hearts in this season, and I am grateful for Ford performance and their non-reversing support. The doctor estimates a recovery of 6-8 weeks, so I am back in the driver’s seat as soon as I am erased.”
