Russia again rejected the idea that foreign troops were stationed in Ukraine. This is when European leaders met Ukrainian President Volodyymyr Zenskyy and held a joint call with President Donald Trump.
Thursday spokesperson Maria Zakharova of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that every plan to be used for foreign military staff in Ukraine would be “unacceptable” for Moscow, Reuters reported.
“Russia is not going to discuss a foreign intervention in Ukraine in which form or classification that is fundamentally unacceptable and undermines any safety,” said Zakharova reporters, according to Reuters.

Russia is not only in rejection of Von der Leyen’s comments, because Germany has also expressed doubts about the proposal. The German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius said reporters that there are “things that you will not discuss before you sit at the negotiating table with many parties who have a say.”
