Revelations on the roof: AI cannot replace manual labor
Pastor and Project Hood -founder Corey Brooks says that the ‘honest work’ that is taught by trade schools could be the most important in poverty for many who are struggling in the current labor market that ‘want to improve their lives’.
The crime of liberalism after the 60s is that the permanent black underclass throughout America created, also on the south side of Chicago where I live. The schools here are bad. Opportunities have been replaced by the government’s hand -outs. Violence robs far too many families of their loved ones. Yet there is a lot of unused potential in this underclass.
I thought of them while I listened to Mike Rowe from “Dirty Jobs”, the need for hundreds of thousands of traders and women recently at the Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit. He started saying: “We have been telling children for 15 years to learn how to cod.” I was also told that I have to pursue that as an opportunity for my childhood. But I have always believed in the power of the transactions.
Rowe pointed out how the arrival of AI has decimated many coding jobs, but did not come after “the welders, the plumbers, the Steamfitters, the Pipefitters, the HVAC or the electricians.” AI cannot do manual labor.
Mike Rowe reveals which American jobs remain untouched by the upcoming AI revolution
The last 20 or so our nation has emphasized the university diploma above everything, including vocational training. In my opinion this has been disastrous. In my community there are still people looking down at the prospect of working with their hands. They believe that the university diploma is their ticket. Perhaps, but my point here is that work that is done by our hands should not be viewed in our culture. It’s a fair job.
Rowe said he heard it Larry FinkChairman and CEO of BlackRock, say in Aspen that “we need 500,000 electricians in the coming years – not hyperbool.” My non-profit organization has given training to many individuals in the field of electricians, including a Chicago police officer who eventually left the armed forces to work full-time in her new field.
He said that the more than 80,000 collision repair technicians would be needed.
More than 140,000 traders are needed to help companies build and deliver nuclear powered submarines to the Navy.
And 300,000 to 500,000 people will be needed for the energy field.
AI cannot do this work. But I know people from the south side and similar neighborhoods throughout America who can.

We have to train these people and put them to work. They may live in poverty and they may not have received the best education. But many of them are hungry to improve their lives. That is why our nation has to reverse the decline of liberalism after the 60s by giving these people directly to opportunities.
If one has to fail or act disadvantageously, that person will release and let him or her be an example for others of what happens if someone does not fully commit himself.

We are a nation in a crisis. If we don’t reverse the fortunes of my neighborhood and others like it, when?
The Golden Age For many Americans lies in the pursuit of a living in the transactions.
