Israel has 40% control over Gaza City, and the Israeli defense groups are preparing to grasp the entire area, an Israeli military spokesperson confirmed on Thursday.
Brig. Gene. Effie Defrin told reporters during a newsletter that his troops had already secured large neighborhoods in the last offensive.
“We will continue to damage the infrastructure of Hamas,” he said. “Today we have 40% of the territory of Gaza City.
“We will continue to work until all the objectives of the war have been achieved. First and foremost, the return of the hostages and the dismantling of the Hamas rule.”

Last week, Israel Gaza City stated in a combat zone in the north, with some districts that were designated by red zones and urged to leave at Palestinians.
High officials warned that military rule could be imposed, and Palestinians were told that they had to evacuate south, with some coalition partners of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who insist on a permanent Israeli settlement in Gaza.
In the meantime, Gaza said health officials that at least 53 Palestinians were killed on Thursday, usually in Gaza City, while Israeli troops pressed deeper into eastern suburbs.

Residents reported heavy bombing in Zeitoun, Sabra, Tuffah and Shejaia, while tanks in Sheikh Radwan, northwest of the city center, crushed houses and burning in Kamplen.
Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the civil emergency service of Gaza, said that the bombing destroyed four buildings in what he described as a “fire belt” that focused on citizens.
“Even if Israel gives warnings, there are no places that can accommodate the people,” he said.

About the evacuations, Israeli officials say that 70,000 people have so far fled Gaza City, although the Palestinian authorities claim that much less have left, with tens of thousands still on the path of progressive troops.
Israël launched his great Gaza City offensive on 10 August under “Operation Gideon’s Charmots”, and used tens of thousands of reservists to fight with his regular troops.

There are still 48 hostages that are assumed to be held in Gaza.
Netanyahu initially said that Israel would conquer the whole of Gaza after indirect conversations with Hamas about a ceasefire -fires -and hostages -deals in July broken.
