Iran reportedly opened fire on three ships in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday.
The British Army’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Centre noted that a container ship was fired upon by an IRGC gunboat near Oman on Wednesday, causing “heavy damage to the bridge.”
“No fires or environmental impacts were reported. All crew reported safely,” the release said.
Another one UKMTO warning said “an outbound cargo ship” west of Iran reported “it was shot at and is now in the water.” The message stated that the crew was safe and that it was being taken into account.
“No damage to the vessel was reported,” it added.

Iranian media said the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) brought two ships to Iran after seizing them in the Strait of Hormuz, according to The Associated Press.
