The best diplomat of Great -Britain was recently in some hot water after he started fishing with the American Vice President JD Vance -but it was no more than everything the politicians discussed.
The British Foreign Minister David Lammy received a written warning from the country’s environmental agency for fish without a permit, the office said Friday.
Lammy had invited Vance and his family to his estate south of London, where the couple had a photo on a nearby river.
The couple also held a bilateral meeting during the visit to discuss international issues.

The agency said that everyone older than 13 should have a permit to fish in fresh water in the country. The agency did not say whether Vance had a license, referring to privacy issues.
If he had been fined, the Minister of Foreign Affairs would have had to pay nearly $ 4,000.

Lammy bought a fishing license and reported to the agency, where a spokesperson called the incident an “administrative error.”
Lammy previously told reporters that Vance gave him “Kentucky-style” fish tips, but it still didn’t help him.
“The only pressure on the special relationship is that all my children have caught fishing, but not the Minister of Foreign Affairs,” Vans joked at the time.
