Gavin Newsom government spoke with the nation from Los Angeles, Ca, where he postponed his plan to fight back against Trump’s efforts to set up the 2026 elections by asking the people of California to neutralize the Trump’s Texas Congressional District Gymander.
Looking at Gov. Newsom Today it is clear how much his strategy has changed since the beginning of the year. Gavin Newsom has gone from organizing a podcast with discussions with Maga’s such as Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk to lead and understand exactly where democratic voters are.

Here we are simply in sight before one mood is released in the interim elections of 2026 and here he tries to draw the system again. He does not play according to another series of rules, he does not believe in the rules. As a result, we must rid ourselves from the way things are done. It is not good enough to hold hands and to have a candlelight vigil and to talk about the way the world should be.
We must recognize the cards that have been treated and can meet fire with fire. We must be held up to a higher level of accountability. That is what this is about. It is not complicated. We do this in response to a president of the United States who called a sitting governor and said I would find five seats. We do it in response to that action. We are aware of our higher angels and better angels. We are aware that we want to model better behavior, that we have been doing California with our redistricting commission for 15 years.
We cannot disarm unilaterally.
