McDonald’s new life in the Nostalgic McDonaldland brand after a more than 20-year interruption, launches a new meal and merchandise inspired by the fictional universe and its inhabitants.
The fast food giant starts to roll out the McDonaldland meal, with collector’s fores that contain postcards and stickers inspired by the characters of the fantasy world such as Grimace and Birdie 12 August, according to a press release.
In addition to the souvenirs, each order is supplied with a quarter of pounds with cheese or a 10-part chicken mcnuggets, fries and a mystery flavor MT. McDonaldland Shake, a nod to the volcano of the fictional universe and its blue lava and pink clouds, noticed the announcement.

McDonald’s also collaborates with Pacsun and Away to create Merch in Limited-Edition McDonaldland, such as luggage labels and sweat, according to the restaurant chain. It will be available for customers from 12 August.

“There is a very magical world of McDonaldland filled with characters, places and tradition,” said Jennifer “JJ” Healan, vice president of brand, content and culture at McDonald’s USA in a statement. “We take fans on a trip to McDonaldland with a compelling experience that comes in the past to create the future.”

McDonaldland, inhabited by Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese and the Fry Friends, was made by the fast food chain in 1971. The fictitious universe entertained fans for decades and films until it was finally felt.

McDonald’s recently also announced that it would shake things later this summer New Drink OptionsIncluding cold brews and refreshers, which will be menus from more than 500 of the American restaurants from 2 September.

In 2023, McDonald’s launched a “Grimace Birthday Meal” with a limited time in honor of the birthday of the Fantasy character, which helped more customers to attract his restaurants.
