The confirmation of the Senate this week of the choice of President Trump, Emil Bove, to the American Court of Appeal for the third circuit with a razor-thin thin mood of 50-49 was a huge victory for conservatives, despite the cheap shots of Democrats and nominal Republican senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.
Bove is not only qualified, it is exceptional. He served for top judges and made his name as a sharp, cool public prosecutor in New York. Even the left -loving American Bar Association gave him their highest assessment: “Well qualified.” That is a major problem of an organization that rarely plays fairly with conservative nominees.

So why all pushback?
Simple. Bove got up when it mattered. When President Trump was a constant legal attack, Bove was one of the few who fuels back. He played a key role in keeping the radical remains of Trump in prison on fake captures. That alone made him a target for Trump haters in the spectrum: Democrats, Never Trumpers and the legal elite of the location.
As the chief advisor -Procurer General, Bove also helped to stop the politically motivated persecution of Mayor Eric Adams of New York City. And he did it by standing up against federal prosecutors in the southern district of New York, those who like to pretend to run their own “sovereign district, apart from the rest of the country. Bove said they had to follow or leave orders. They left. That is leadership.

Some in the conservative legal world were also not happy with the confirmation of Bove to a lifelong term. The Wall Street Journal recently ran a piece that is concerned that the confirmation of Bove could do what some Republican’s appointed judges refuse to retire. Here is the truth: those judges had their chance to retire during the first term of Trump and not. That is up to them, not Bove.
Others claimed breathless Bove’s confirmation marked the end of the conservative legal movement. That’s nonsense. If Kamala Harris had won the presidency and the courts had stacked with left -wing radicals, the damage would have been catastrophic. Instead, President Trump puts solid, constitutionalist judges on the bank, judges such as Emil Bove.
Of course the opposition resorted to the same tired smears that they always do. So -called “whistleblowers” came forward with thin claims. A former DOJ lawyer, Erez Reuveni, accused Bove of telling officials to ignore judicial orders, then turned around and signed legal documents that confirmed that the orders were followed. In addition, Reuveni undermines the immigration cases of the Trump administration and violates the lawyer-client privilege. He was fired, and rightly so. This is who chose the Anti-Boove-MEFTE as their star witness.

Two more “whistleblowers” came in just before the final mood-classical last-minute character murder. They had no first -hand knowledge. The allegations of the other were never made public by Senate Democrats. Sounds known? It should be. It is the same playbook that they used against Justice Kavanaugh. Do you remember the ridiculous accusations, including those about a corridor boat boat? All lies. All desperate. All have failed.
The article III project proudly fought for the confirmation of Bove. This was not just about one chair. This was about reducing the old guard – the Milquetoast Republicans and the Liberal Machine – and the herald of a new generation of daring, fearless constitutionalists.
Tuesday’s mood showed that the old tricks no longer work. On the left could not spread to a victory. The establishment could not create this. Trump’s nominee made it through.
They will continue to try to derail the president’s agenda, especially when it comes to the courts. But we keep fighting. Because what is at stake is not only the next judge. It is the future of the Constitution, the rule of law and the rights of the American people.
The old guard lost. America won. And this is just the beginning.
