A Kroger -based Kroger was closed for selling cakes made with “unacceptable” decorations on it to celebrate JuneteENTH After a video went viral on Tiktok.
“This is what bulls,” Tiktok user @blaq.monisa said in a video recorded from the store. The video, which has collected more than 10 million views and 1 million likes, showed various cakes and pastries that can be seen at the bakery.
“Who made this ugly-ass ST? This is unacceptable,” she added.

“Kroger counts your days. Why would you even take the trouble if you won’t miss creativity. This is Kroger on Howell Mill RD, Atlanta Go. This is a spot! I am stumbling, someone lets me know!” De Tiktokmaker asked in the corresponding caption.
One of the cakes had written “free @ latter” on it in ice. Another cake had also written “free” on it in De Kers.

“The cakes and cookies that were shown in the video were not consistent with our guidance provided and not the quality we would expect from our stores. The products have been removed and we have tackled this directly with the store teams and the customer who made the first video.”
The video led to a fire storm in the responses.
“Free @ Last” is devilish, “noted a Tiktok user under the video.
Tick -user @blaq.monisa placed a follow -up video that praised the reaction to her viral images.
“Went back to Kroger, Howell Mill RD, Atlanta GA. They removed the cookie cakes, or I think someone bought them!” She wrote in the caption.

“Tiktok, you did it,” @blaq.monisa said while they showed that the pastries in the video were removed from the shelves.

“I don’t know what you did, but you did it. Because I know nobody is buying those cookies,” she added.
Although the pastry was removed, the Tiktokmaker was still disappointed that the store did not replace the apparently attacking cakes with “better” cakes.
“I still feel a kind of way that they have not replaced it with better Juneteene Cakes,” she said.
JuneteENTH recognizes June 19, 1865, when slaves people in Galveston, Texas discovered that they were free after the civil war. African-Americans made a slave were informed of their freedom two months after the end of the civil war and the emancipation proclamation.
JuneteENTH was made of a federal vacation in the first year President Biden’s administration.
