PGA Tour golfer Michael Brennan shot out of a thirst trap on Thursday.
Brennan played shirtless for a moment at New Orleans’ Zurich Classic, baring his sculpted physique and inviting online admiration and jokes.
“Someone has been doing abs all winter and wanted it to be known,” says one observer wrote on X.
‘I just look at his muscles’ another added.
‘He should have turned his shirt over his head’ someone else cracked it.
Brennan apparently went topless to keep his jersey clean and dry when his ball fell onto the water’s edge on the 18th hole. But his shot attempt mostly caught water and mud as the ball fell into the drink.
He used the moment to subtly strike a few poses.
“Keep flexing,” one commentator said in a clip shared by the PGA Tour. “Keep bending them.”
Brennan and partner Johnny Keefer closed out the first day with an 11 under 61 in the team tournament.
“Yeah, it was fun,” Brennan said of his shirtless adventure, per pgatour.com.

The 24 year old golfer, who turned professional in 2024won the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship for his only tour victory.
Now he has achieved a bit of viral fame as well.
