Donald Trump is very angry about the Supreme Court taking away his power to act like a king and impose tariffs of any amount on the American peoplebecause tariffs are taxes paid by businesses and passed on to consumers in the United States.
The current president doesn’t care about policy or governance. There is little evidence that his television viewing habits extend beyond Fox News, Newsmax, Fox Business and the hate-mongering MSNBC program Morning Joe, CNN, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.
There is no evidence that Trump ever watched C-SPAN for a second of his presidency, unless he fell asleep in front of the television, or lost his remote while channel surfing during Fox News commercials.
All of which makes this clip of someone referencing himself and John Barron and trying to sound a lot like Trump seem a little questionable.
John Barron was the name Trump used to call the media, posing as a staffer to make statements to the tabloids during his days in New York. John Barron is Donald Trump. Everyone knew it, but Trump made people attribute statements to John Barron about not wanting his name.
The tariff decision, Trump’s history, and C-SPAN’s open line created the perfect climate for a prankster to have a little fun.
