Donald Trump has been frustrated with Pam Bondi for months because he believes she is not doing enough to prosecute his political enemies and she cannot make the Epstein scandal go away.
Her job is reportedly at stake.
Given this context, the Epstein dossier scandal continuing to grow, the fact that ICE continues to attack the American people while the DOJ sits on the sidelines, and the only investigation they seem willing to do involves blaming ICE’s victims, Bondi apparently felt the need to go to any lengths to save her job, and boy did she ever go over the top.
Bondi attacked Judiciary Committee member Jamie Raskin but sounded like a teenager having a tantrum.
Raskin told Chairman Jim Jordan, “You can let her filibuster all day. But not on our watch. We don’t claim it’s our time. Absolutely not.”
Raskin then turned to Bondi, “And I told you about that attorney general before you started.”
Bondi said, ‘You’re not telling me anything.’
Raskin shot back, “Oh, I told you because we saw what you did in the Senate.”
Bondi then called Raskin a failed lawyer, adding, muttering to herself, “not even a lawyer.”
As a reminder, when Democrats take back the House of Representatives, Raskin will be the committee chairman who will have direct oversight of Bondi and the DOJ.
Those hearings should be something.
Bondi just kept melting away.
