The Governor of Connecticut suggests that the profit of Mamdani could cause financial instability

Democratic Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont has warned a Zohran Mamdani win in the Mayoral Race in New York City Given the impact that his policy could have on Wall Street.

In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Lamont also referred to the effect of neighboring Connecticut’s own financial ecosystem.

“New York City is the financial capital of the world, and we are a big part of this,” said Lamont on Tuesday at the Greenwich Economic Forum. “I want to ensure that the next mayor understands how important New York City is for that system, and that is important for Connecticut.”

Lamont’s comments come if the Democratic-Socialist candidate Mamdani, 33, continues to arise Wall street And the wider business with its left platform.

His campaign blows include rental properties, free childcare and the establishment of supermarkets run by the government, all financed by higher taxes on companies and the richest of New York.

“They know where the state is going, and the taxes are a little less,” he said, adding that democratic governors as he focus on pragmatic leadership.

“Governors must balance the budget. They have to do it on time. Governors cannot close a government.”
