For those who keep a score, it was Johnson’s Republicans who voted to remove an affordable health insurance from 24 million Americans. It was the majority of Johnson who refused to negotiate for months with Democrats to prevent them from causing a health crisis.
Speaker Johnson went further than refusing to negotiate and has now refused to open the house.
Johnson was so cowardly that he had announced the house clerk that the session had been planned for next week into a district work period so that the house would be outside the session until 13 October.
Never in the history of the Government’s Shutdowns, the party that checked the entire federal government has closed the government and then refused to open the house to do business to resolve the closure.
Before you think that Johnson’s move has something to do with the Epstein files, not.
Johnson has a few procedural movements in his back pocket that was designed to kill the dismissal permit.
