Israel has launched a new ground offensive in Gaza City and warned residents to leave and go to the south.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the ground offensive started Tuesday when troops wanted to sharpen control of the largest city in Palestinian territory.
The Gaza City Push is a direct continuation of Operation Gideon’s Charmots, a week -long campaign in the south of and central Gaza who said Israel that the Hamas positions dismantled and released the road for troops to go north. The IDF said that multiple divisions started with an “extensive ground surgery” that has been designed to dismantle Hamas infrastructure, to consolidate earlier profit and push deeper into the city.

Israël warns against the approaching attack on Gaza City, urges residents to flee
The last attack follows a week in which the Israeli Air Force broke more than 850 goals in Gaza City, where it died as hundreds of Hamas hunters and the destruction of infrastructure intended to bump a land infringement. The strikes, it said, were intended to break down the defense of Hamas and to prepare the battlefield for the progress of troops.
An Israeli military officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity under military guidelines, told The Associated Press that about 2,000 to 3,000 Hamas militants remain in Gaza City, together with a network of tunnels.
The offensive marks another escalation in a conflict that the Midden -East Because every potentially ceases -the fires feels more and more out of reach despite months of diplomacy.

“A very tough night in Gaza,” said Dr. Mohamed Abu Selmiyah, director of Shifa, at the AP. “The bombing did not stop for one moment.”
Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the Arabian language for the Israeli army, warned residents that Gaza City is now a “dangerous combat zone”.
“For your safety, evacuate as quickly as possible to the published safe areas, by vehicle or on foot, via the Al-Rashid gang south of Wadi Gaza,” said Adraee. “Join the more than 40% of the inhabitants of the city who have already evacuated to protect their own safety and those of their loved ones.”

The IDF estimates that 350,000 people Gaza City were escaped one third of the population of the city before the ground offensive began. That figure is in contradiction with a UN estimate that was published on Monday that more than 220,000 Palestinians fled Noord -Gaza last month, after Israeli warnings to evacuate prior to the operation.
Long lines of traffic extended the coastal road of Gaza on Tuesday, with vehicles highly piled up with mattresses and assets, while others fled on foot.
The IDF said that several of his front line departments have been mobilized for the new phase.
“In the last day, IDF troops in the southern command of the 98th, 162nd and 36th divisions, both in compulsory and reserve service, started extensive ground activities in Gaza City as part of operation” Gideon’s Chariots II, “the army said.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that State Secretary Marco Rubio in Doha met with Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Rubio confirmed us – Qatar tires, thanked Doha for attempts to end the war in Gaza and bring all hostages home. Rubio also repeated the support of America for the safety and sovereignty of Qatar.
