Office Depot has dismissed an employee at one of the locations in Michigan after a viral video has shown that staff refused to print posters for a wake -orer Charlie KirkThe late conservative activist.
In the viral video, which has generated more than 4 million views on X from Saturday morning, a person who can be heard recording is told a trio of employees that they entered the store earlier in the night to pick up an order for posters that can be used at a wake.

A woman who identified herself as one of the shop managers responded by saying: “Yes, so we don’t print propaganda.” She then doubled and said, “It’s propaganda. I’m sorry. We don’t print that here.”
When the person who took the video, asked what the posters makes propaganda, she said: “Because he is a political figure and I don’t have to do …” before another employee cut her off and said that the general manager would be Monday.
The video was initially posted on Friday by Michigan Forward Network, a conservative political advocacy group, who said that one of her team members had ordered Kirk to honor Kirk, who was shot during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
The video has created a Firestorm online with numerous commentators calling on Office Depot to act.

Office Depot said on Friday evening that an “immediate internal assessment” was launched and the employee involved in the incident is “no longer with the organization”. The company also said that as soon as it heard from the incident it was “to tackle their worries and to satisfy their command.”
“The behavior shown by our employee is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policy and does not reflect the values ​​we maintain at Office Depot,” is the statement.
“On behalf of the company, we sincerely apologize for this regrettable situation.”

The company did not mention which employee was dismissed and said that it will “continue to investigate the case aggressively”, and action will be taken where it is appropriate.
The statement ended with: “We are committed to strengthening the training with all team members to ensure that our standards for respect, integrity and customer service are confirmed at every location. Our customers and communities earn nothing less.”
Office Depot has 845 Superstores in 44 states and the District of Columbia, according to the company’s website.
