The horror that unfolded at Utah Valley University is still difficult to process. A few minutes after a joyful meeting for thousands of people, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot in cool blood.
As they tried to understand this meaningless murder, the broadcast networks roughly suggested that Kirk was shot because he was ‘polarizing’. ABC correspondent Kyra Phillips explained that Kirk was ‘known for his outspoken views on politics, culture, religion, who often took his groceries to colleges and universities, which sometimes called on quite heated debates on campus’.
Reporter Aaron Katersky added: “There were people on both sides who debated whether he even had to get his message, often loyal to President Trump’s agenda, on campus.” Reporter Mary Bruce van het Witte Huis doubled: “It is no secret that Kirk has said a number of controversial things over the years, in particular about the Jews, women, LGBTQ community, people of color.”

While Kirk bleed, ABC News suggested that this was how “beautiful heated debates” ended on campus, and that it might not have happened if Kirk’s “controversial” appearance was not allowed.

Leftists certainly found Kirk’s conservative arguments “polarizing” “division” and “controversial”. But they don’t seem to have an introspection in the liberal bubbles of their “news” networks. Spreading their left -wing arguments on dei or LGBTQ or Abortion or Trump – which often implies that deviating opinions is unacceptably hateful – never polarizes and is somehow the opposite of controversy. How can their sweet reason be ‘controversial’?
By the time the news broadcasts arrived on Wednesday evening, there was a suitable tone of horror in the shooting. But on Thursday, “CBS Mornings” co-gastheer Nate Burleson for the former house speaker Kevin McCarthy told Kirk’s speech “was offensive to specific communities” and asked if Republicans should look at their mouths. “Speaking of this tragedy, is this a moment for your party to think about political violence? Is it a moment for us to think about the responsibility of our political leaders and their voices and what it does with the masses while they are lost in wrong information or disinformation that changes in political violence?”
Anti-Trump voices praise the legacy of Charlie Kirk after murder, say he did politically ‘in the right way’
McCarthy tried to stay on an unnotic message, but Burleson’s question was “offensive to specific communities”, in this case the Trump-voicing half of America. Everyone who agreed with Kirk about many issues thought that this could be the violent fate of every conservative speaker in public, especially on “progressive” campuses.
Kirk’s alleged murderer was not a Republican. CBS did not wonder if the shooter was influenced by wild left -wing rhetoric in any form of media or political figure. The rhetoric from the left is in one way or another always above the research.
The morning after the murder, NPR turned to Kyle Spencer, a left -wing author of a book from 2022 “Raising Them Right: The Untold Story About America’s Ultraconservative Youth Movement and his plot for power.” She claimed: “Charlie really positioned herself as someone who supported whitle, white people, white culture and the white culture of this country against what he saw as efforts that were efforts to create equality in the country and support the detached.”

“Public” broadcast is so deep with the “dei ethics” that they “have to center the marginalized”, and so anyone who opposes the black left is marginalized as an extreme right-wing racist pony. But they loved Black Lives Matter and their racial “settlement” in 2020.

While there was news on the bubbling, there were political markings about the ammunition of the shooter, on Thursday “World News Tonight” on ABC, they took over the reports of “anti-fascist” and pro-transgender messages and stupid them. Matt Gutman could only say that law enforcement sources were found “a powerful gun wrapped in a towel, and three non-stressed cartridges registered with words and symbols. Tonight, authorities, authorities [are] Working on what the markings can mean. ”
Leftists certainly found Kirk’s conservative arguments “polarizing” “division” and “controversial”. But they don’t seem to have an introspection in the liberal bubbles of their “news” networks.
On Friday, the authorities unveiled one sling housing: “Hey fascist! Catch!” Another said “O Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao,” That refers to a left song that celebrates the end of the Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, but on the left it still uses the current conservative Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Over the past 10 years, the news networks have spent wild terms such as “fascist” and “authoritarian” to describe not only President Donald Trump, but also republicans and conservatives in general. The radical left -wing “Antifa” movement, on the other hand, has largely escaped any critical control and in recent years the media have done that this is a kind of crazy invention of conspiracy theorists.
When the Network News broadcasts casually allow Trump to compare Trump with Adolf Hitler and suggest that he and his voters pose an “existential threat” for democracy, they are those who increase national tensions. No conservatives.
