Democrats in the house do not accept another cave from Senate Line Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) about the financing of the government. Democrats have made it clear that they want to withdraw the Obamacare and Medicaid cuts.
The Democrats also want Schumer to commit himself to a government’s closure as Republicans will not meet their requirements.
John Bresnahan from Punchbowl News posted on X:
Huisdemocrats had an angry caucus mtg about government financing and a possible closure this morning. Rank -And -File Dems want party leaders – especially Schumer – willing to close the government to get what they want on Obamacare and Medicaid.
A number of Democrats stood up to complain during the meeting, including Brad Schneider, Kim Schrier, Jared Moskowitz, Chellie Pingree & More.
The majority of the anger was aimed at Chuck Schumer & Senate Democrats.
If a group of senate democrats caves, such as Schumer in March, are not because they were trading for the well -being of the country, or another nonsense that they could publicly say.
A Schumer -cave would be because he wants nothing to do that he thinks it can endanger the democratic opportunities to take the Senate back next year.
Democrats don’t have a good chance of winning the Senate back next year. They have a chance, but the card is still not in their favor, and taking back the majority should win the open seats in North Carolina and Iowa, while defeating established operators in places such as Maine and Texas.
It is possible, but everything should go well for Democrats to take the Senate back.
The Obamacare cuts will ensure that insurance premiums will rise next year. People can’t wait for the interim election.
Huisdemocrats are 100% equal to demand Schumer’s guarantees that he will close the government unless the cuts on Obamacare and Medicaid are reversed.
Democrats must take a position to prevent a care crisis.
Everything less will be a betrayal to the American people.
