The fascination of a president is not a reliable indicator of the future of a political party, but when a president is booed every time they are shown on the screen during an event, it is no coincidence.

Trump made his greetings sleeping face that he must think he looks serious and patriotic, but in reality he looks like a confused dope trying to do what he thinks a patriotic person would do.

This was the US Open, a tennis tournament. It is not like Trump outside an NFL stage tail gating was before the kick -off. Tennis tournaments are not known for their vocal crowds with pronounced political beliefs.

It is a serious high level of unpopularity necessary to be boosted at a tennis tournament, and there may never have been president in American history who was booed during the national anthem during a sporting event.
If I were a house or the Senate Republican who would look at this scene with an ounce of common sense, I could suspect that my re -election campaign could be in trouble.
Mid -term elections have traditionally been a referendum about the sitting president.
If this is how voters feel about Trump during a tennis tournament, imagine how people think about him when they have to fill the gas tank, buy groceries or pay for their utility accounts.
Voters are angry and that anger has been engaged on Trump and his party.
Donald Trump cannot escape. Everywhere he goes, he is reminded that he is a failed president who cannot stand most Americans.
