Russia launched the greatest attack of the month against Ukraine, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy met US President Donald Trump and European leaders in the White House.
The attack also comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin the meeting of Trump in Alaska in Alaska last Friday, in which Putin stops immediately -the -furen refused and demanded that Ukraine give up his eastern donetsk region in exchange for an end to the conflict of February 2022222222222222222s. Trump later said he had spoken with Putin on the phone about arrangements for a meeting between the Russian president and Zenskyy.
The Air Force of Ukraine said that Russia launched 270 drones and 10 rockets in Ukraine on Monday evening and until Tuesday, but that 230 drones and six rockets were intercepted or suppressed. The Air Force reported that 40 drones and four rockets were beaten over 16 locations and that debris had fallen at three locations.

“While there was hard work to promote peace in Washington, Dc continued to do the opposite of peace: more strikes and destruction,” wrote the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X. “This again shows how critical it is to end the murder, a lasting peace.”
Energy infrastructure in the Central Poltava region was a target of the strikes, according to the energy minister of energy in Ukraine. The victim figures were not immediately released by civil servants.

“As a result of the attack, large -scale fires broke out,” the ministry said in a statement.
Oil definition and gas facilities were attacked, the Ministry added, and said that the strikes were the latest “systematic terrorist attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, a direct violation of international humanitarian law.”
The attack was the largest since Russia, according to the Air Force 309 drones and eight rockets in Ukraine launched in Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that his troops shot down 23 Ukrainian drones on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Both parties have focused on infrastructure, including oil facilities.
Zenskyy had criticized Moscow for earlier strikes on Monday prior to his meeting in the White House in which at least 14 people were killed and dozens were injured.
“The Russian war machine continues to destroy life despite everything. Putin will commit demonstrative murders to maintain pressure on Ukraine and Europe, as well as to humiliate diplomatic efforts. That is precisely why we are looking for help to put an end to the murders,” he wrote on X on Monday morning.
