Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev taunted European leaders at the start of Tuesday and accused them of failure to “surpass” US President Donald Trump during their meeting with Ukrainian President Volodyymyr Zenskyy in the White House.
“The Anti-Russian hot-oranging Coalition of the Willing did not succeed in surpassing @potus on his peat,” wrote Medvedev on X, in English.
The “Coalition of the Willing” refers to a group of European leaders who have formed a pact to support a peace agreement in Ukraine. Those leaders during the Monday meeting were French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
NATO Secretary -General Mark Rutte and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen were also present.

Medvedev claimed that these leaders supposedly “thanked” and “sucked up” to President Trump.
The interrogation that is left now, said Medvedev, was “which tune” Zenskyy – whom he sparkled as “The Kiev Clown” – “will play at home about guarantees and areas as soon as he has set up his green military uniform again.”
