Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz seems to live by a remake of the Seinfeld Soup Nazi episode. Dershowitz, however, is confronted with a new culinary threat in Martha’s Vineyard. Chef Krem Miskevich has hindered the famous lawyer from buying Pierogis because of his political views, and liberals applauded him for it. Welcome to Pierogi politics. It is the same unsavory politics that this country tears apart, only with an added carbo load.
Dershowitz has previously described how his liberal neighbors, who were friendly when he came on left -wing causes, put him on the blacklist in the elite community because of his defense of President Donald Trump. He is treated as a persona non grata and avoided by the rich community.
Bill Maher Lost: “Why is it good that the Jews hates the left?”
Now the blacklist has been expanded to food. Dershowitz would regularly go to the West Tisbury Farmers Market and buy food from the Good pierogi. Then Miskevich decided to join the crowd and to forbid him to eat.
Mishkevich (those pronouns goes “she” and “them”) also accused Dershowitz of abuse by casually referring to “him” (Dershowitz said he would like to use his preferred prestige words). However, Miskevich admits that it is his political and legal views that led him to put the professor on the blacklist.

Dershowitz is now sending legal steps against the West Tisbury Farmers Market and placed this statement his Youtube -channel last week: “He did not approve my politics so that he would not serve me.”
Dershowitz suggested that the first rejection was possibly due to wearing a pro-Jewish T-shirt. In his first meeting, he had reminded the seller that the law of Massachusett’s refusing refuses refusal on the basis of race, religion or sexual orientation: “You can’t say:” I don’t serve black people, “you couldn’t say,” I don’t serve gays, “you can’t say” I don’t know Jews. “
The police were called in the incident and led Dershowitz away.
Mishkevich has excited left by airing his hatred for Dershowitz and everyone who has his political or legal views:
“When he came to our stand, I experienced an increase in emotion. As a chef I like to share what I cook with the audience, regardless of who they were. In this case what was at the forefront of my thoughts, the fact that this was the high-profile lawyer who represented various sexual predators and abusers, including Jeffre Epstein.”
Dershowitz is completely right here and the treatment he received was outrageous. What is horrifying is how hatred is now celebrated on the left as a perverse type of virtue signaling.
We have seen how the left embraced the blacklist, an abuse that was once associated with the McCarthy period. In 1950 columnist and civil libertarian Max Lerner wrote a hair -raising prediction in the New York Post about the red fear: “There is a hatred of opinions and emotion in America. There will be other McCarthys that will be praised as his heroes.”
It turns out that it would come from the left. Calls for blacklist are from municipal councils Public interest groups. Others called for that “accomplice” forbidding from university campuses, while others demanded a “truth and reconciliation committee” To keep “Trump and his Enablers responsible for the crimes they have committed.” Daily Beast Editor-at-Large Rick Wilson has added his own phone call For ‘humiliation’, ‘imprisonment’, and even ritual suicides for Trump supporters in a loose, vulgar column.
Writers and Editors Have become members of the blacklist of focusing on Trump supporters, Conservative judgesAnd Authors such as JK Rowling For their political views. It is all part of the Orwellian logic of the left: intolerance in the name of tolerance, on the black list in the name of free speech.

We have also seen lawyers increasingly to see left for their clients, a tactic that was once used against liberal lawyers who represent unpopular criminal or civil clients. This includes the successful targeting of one Harvard Professor for representing Weinstein. A lot of Leading lawyers helped finance the Lincoln project in National efforts to harass and abuse lawyers representing the Republican Party or President Trump.
This week President Trump even had to executive order To deter “debt” where financial institutions discriminate on the basis of political or religious views.
Now, back to Dershowitz. Liberals cheer the refusal of food to people who do not share their political views. Miskevich parade and attitudes indeed like the MLK of Martha’s Vineyard for joining the crowd against a single, unpopular neighbor. Instead of treating food as a basis for shared dialogue and exchange, Miskevich wants to arm it to use those who dare to have opposite views.
What is particularly striking is how many of the same people have insisted on it A baker in Colorado Must be needed to make cakes that violate the owner’s religious and freedom of opinion. In Masterpiece Cakeshop and later cases like 303 CreativeThe left -wing entrepreneurs succeeded for refusing to sell products that celebrated marriages of the same sex. They were furious that such denials are hateful and intolerant.

In Masterpiece CakeshopThe owner insisted that he would sell cakes to couples of the same sex and everyone who entered his store. He only pulled the line in preparing cakes that explicitly celebrate marriages of the same sex as an expressive act that violated his core beliefs.
In this case, Miskevich refuses to sell in advance pierogis based on a political litmus test. It is not clear that this violates the law, but it is wrong. If Dershowitz Miskevich asked to provide a Pierogi-based party in honor of Trump, I would support his right to take a matter of freedom of expression, given his aversion to conservatives. However, this is the refusal of service for pre -made Pierogis based on discrimination against the point of view.

There is little doubt that Miskevich will transport customers by making it to the crowd. The only thing that is more seductive than the love of good food is the hatred for opposing views. The problem is that feeding with hatred will never saturate people; They just want more portions. That insatiable appetite is destroying this country and now Miskevich contributes a pierogi at the same time.
