The Trump government is happy to refer to itself as the most transparent administration in history. A good rule of thumb for the American people is that when a presidential administration constantly calls itself as transparent, they probably hide a lot and many things.
That seems to be the case with the Trump government.
Bloomberg Reported about how every mention of Trump is edited from the Epstein files:
During the revision of the Epstein files, FBI staff identified countless references to Trump in the documents, the people who are familiar with the case told. Dozens of other controversial public figures also appeared, people said. (The appearance of the name of Trump or others in the Epstein files is not proof of a crime or even a suggestion of misconduct.)
In preparation for possible public release, the documents then went to a unit of Foia officers who apply editors in accordance with the nine exemptions. The people who are familiar with the case said that the name of Trump, along with other controversial individuals, was darkened because he was a private individual when Epstein’s federal investigation was launched in 2006.

A spokesperson for the White House would not respond to questions about the editors of Trump’s name, instead referring questions about the FBI. The FBI refused to comment. The Ministry of Justice did not respond to several requests for comments.
The only way in which the name of Trump will ever be saved from the Epstein files is if he signs a privacy distance so that his name can appear in the public release of the documents.
The Trump administration seems to do everything to block the release of the files, so before the issue of making the name of Trump can be tackled, the documents must be publicly released.
If Trump is as innocent as he claims to be, this does not look like this good. If Trump has nothing to hide, he could allow his name to be used and protecting the privacy of people who appear in the files.
The entire political career of Donald Trump was about hiding secrets, so it is no surprise that so many Americans think that he hides something with his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
The questions and the suspicion will only grow until the American people can see the name of Trump in the files.
