Stop service negotiations between Israel and the terrorist organization of Hamas hit a setback on Thursday, when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remembered the negotiation delegation of Israel from Doha after what civil servants described as a hardening of Hamas’ demands.
“In the light of the answer that Hamas delivered this morning, it was decided to retrieve the negotiating team for further consultation in Israel,” said the Prime Minister’s office in a statement. “We appreciate the efforts of the mediators, Qatar and Egypt, and the efforts of envoy Steve Witkoff to achieve a breakthrough in the conversations.”
According to reports in the Israeli media, the terror group is now demanding the release of 200 Palestinians who are lifelong for the killing of Israelis, and another 2,000 Palestinians who were held in Gaza after 7 October. The fact that the demand is considerably higher than the previous mediator-and-hung framework-to-be accepted by Israel-Die the release of 125 life prisoners and 1,200 other other prisoners and 1,200 other other prisoners and 1,200 other detainers and 1,200 other prisoners exceed.

Witkoff announced on X that his team returns from Doha “for consultation after the last reaction of Hamas, which clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefiring -the fire in Gaza.”
He praised the efforts of the mediators, but said, “Hamas does not seem to be coordinated or act in good faith.” Witkoff added: “We will now consider taking alternative options to bring the hostages home and try to create a more stable environment for the people of Gaza,” it “a pity that Hamas acted in this selfish way”.
“The return of the delegation is not a collapse or a crisis, but the gaps are important and present in all core issues,” said a senior Israeli official at Channel 12. Another official confirmed to the American Midden -East Envot Steve Witkoff that Hamas updated prisoners are “unacceptable.”
A joint declaration of 25 countries that afford the behavior of Israel in Gaza can also have already had a fragile strike -the fires have negotiated, Israeli officials suggested. In response to the conviction, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel issued a sharply formulated statement and warned: “At these sensitive moments in the current negotiations, it is better to avoid these kinds of explanations.
“Israel rejects the joint statement published by a group of countries, because it is disconnected from reality and sends the wrong message to Hamas.” The Ministry added that “all explanations and all claims must be aimed at the only party responsible for the lack of a deal for the release of hostages and a ceases -the Furen: Hamas, who started this war and extends it.”
Hostages expressed themselves deeply about the breakdown in negotiations. “The families look with concern as reports arise about the return of the negotiating team,” said hostages and missing families forum in a statement. “Every day that spends the chances of restoring the hostages and the possibility of finding the dead. A different missed opportunity to bring everyone home would be unforgivable – a moral, safety and diplomatic failure.”
The negotiations, which continued for weeks, are part of a proposed deal-supported deal with a cease-fire of 60 days in exchange for the release of approximately 50 remaining Israeli hostages, a phased release of Palestinian prisoners and extensive humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Hamas also demands that Israeli troops withdraw into the positions that are held before 2 March, when the latter stopped -the fires collapsed and that the Rafah reopens in both directions between Gaza and Egypt. The group further opposes the newly founded Gaza Humanitarian Fund, and demands AID Distribution Return to the previous non-controlled mechanism.

A Hamas officer told Reuters that the group insists on a return to a protocol of 19 January due to access to aid and that ceasefires negotiations should include a clause that prevents Israel military operations resuming after the 60-day ceasefolding-even if a more broader deal is not arrived.
The growing humanitarian crisis is in the center of the impasse. The UN and international aid groups warn that hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza are dealing with serious food insecurity. It is claimed that citizens in the north are forced to survive on animal feed and limited plants, while chaotic auxiliary divisions in the south have repeatedly become fatal.

In response to increasing pressure, Israel visibly increases the pace of assistance. On Thursday, Cogat (coordinator of government activities in the areas) reported that 70 auxiliary cars were transferred to Gaza on Wednesday via the Zikim and Kerem Shalom intersections. The shipments, mainly food, were provided under IDF coordination with the UN and humanitarian organizations.
Cogat said that more than 150 trucks were collected in Gaza, but warned that more than 800 trucks were not collected during the crossing due to logistics disruptions on the Palestinian side.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) stated on X That on Wednesday it offered to deliver the tons of the UN for free in Gaza for free. John Acree, the interim director of GHF, said: “We have seen that the UN and other organization (s) are being stacked near the borders but are not delivered.”

Israeli journalist Nadav Eyal reported Thursday That high defense officials say that they were instructed by the political echelon to “huge access from humanitarian aid to Gaza” and “to be less concerned with precautions or plans to keep it out of the hands of Hamas.”

While the conversations resume stall and military activities, Israeli officials warn that the window can close for a deal. “There are still important gaps,” a source told Channel 12. “The negotiations are not over yet – but time has gone.”
