A seagull posted in the outfield of a Minor League baseball game came too close to the action on Tuesday after it was hit by a baseball in midfield.
In the bottom of the second inning, Corpus Christi Hooks left Field player Luis Baez left one hit a ground ball From a throw from Springfield Cardinals Lefty Brycen Mautz.
While the ball went to the outfield, several seagulls left in the air, but one of their winged friends – who immediately cooled on the path of the ball – did not succeed in avoiding on time, making the feathered fan hit by the grounder.
