BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -The Spanish police believe that Liverpool player Diogo Jota rode the speed limit when he and his brother died in a car accident last week.
The bourgeois guard of Spain said on Tuesday that, while their research into the cause of the crash continues last Thursday, they believe that Jota was driving too fast when the Lamborghini burst after a tire.

Earlier, the police had not said whether Jota or his brother André Silva were driving.
On Tuesday they said it looked like Jota.
The brothers and sisters died in the car when it burst into flames early in the morning on an isolated part of the highway.

Portuguese media reported that Jota was on his way to the North -Spanish city of Santander to take a ferry to England, where he would join Liverpool after he was advised not to fly after a recent lung procedure.
Their funeral was held in Portugal on Saturday.
