President Donald Trump leans on Israel to end his conflict in Gaza and close a hostage while he wants to expand the Abraham chords – a cornerstone performance of his first term.
The pressure is increasing, since the Israeli strategic affairs Minister Ron Dmerer is about to keep the white house meetings on Monday when the 20 -month war in Gaza ends.
In a Sunday post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said: “Make the deal in Gaza. Get the hostages back !!!”

Reports on Sunday suggests mediators who supervise the hostages negotiations are closely linked to securing the military operations of Israel and one day after the plan for Gaza-Dwuwen Israel to send negotiators to Egypt. But the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has so far refused to do this.
Instead, Dmerer was reportedly sent to Washington to ensure that the US and Israel are tuned before indirect negotiations continue.
Israel claims that Hamas has been the roadblock on returning the remaining 50 hostages who are still in the hands of the terrorist network, including 49 of whom were abducted on October 7, 2023, as well as a deceased hostage who has been held since 2014.
According to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, another 27 of the hostages are assessed to have been killed during or since the October 2023 attack, including two Americans, Itay Chen and Omer Neutra.
Netanyahu also said that there are “doubts” about the fate of various other hostages.

On Monday, the Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said: “Israel is seriously in his will to reach a hostage dealer and ceases -fires in Gaza.”
He pointed out Jerusalem’s acceptance of a recent proposal presented by special envoy Steve Witkoff, but he rejected Hamas because it did not include a solution for a permanent cessation -the fire and a plan to withdraw Israeli troops from Gaza.
Witkoff is expected to go to Cairo in the coming days to start new negotiations.
The end of Israel’s military operations in Gaza will be a crucial step in expanding Trump’s ambitions to bring new nations to the Abraham agreements.
On Monday, Sa’ar repeated the ambitions of Jerusalem in this effort and said: “We have opportunities for us. We have paid the new reality in the middle -won with the blood of our soldiers and civilians.”

“Israel is interested in the expansion of the Abraham agreements of peace and standardization. We have an interest in adding countries, such as Syria and Lebanon, our neighbors, to the circle of peace and normalization – while protecting the essential and security interests of Israel,” he added.
Trump has not detailed which countries are interested in normalizing diplomatic relations with Israel, although countries such as Saudi Arabia have made it clear that as long as Palestinians continue to suffer in the conflict of Israel-Hamas, normalization of the table.
“We currently have a number of really great countries there and I think we are going to load them because Iran was the primary problem,” Trump told Maria Bartiromo during an exclusive “Sunday morning Futures“Interview this week.
