Liberals at the Network News Divisions have no objective or non -party -bound vision when it comes to who can be defined as extreme in politics. If you are a liberal, Vermontendentent is Sen. Bernie Sanders not extreme. He is not far from you. He gets a wave and a smile. But from their place in the political spectrum, conservative republicans are uniform ‘ultra -conservative’.
On the morning after Zohran Mamdani won the Democrat Primary for mayor of New York and defeated the purely liberal Andrew Cuomo, the networks could not tolerate it to define a socialist as a political problem for Democrats. But they could describe him as charming.
ABC’s Aaron Katersky proclaimed “Good Morning America”, the voters made a “surprising choice to support a young, charismatic socialist who promises to make New York City more affordable, indicating that they are ready for a break from the past.”
Mamdani’s political earthquake rocks Democrats and divides Party on the road ahead
Reporter Rachel Scott said that Mamdani was “very far left”, but it sounded like a positive: “For progressives this is a good sign for them. They see this as their candidate who ran on a very extremely left -wing agenda who spoke about affordability.”

On “CBS Mornings,” said reporter Jericka Duncan that Mamdani “was a progressive Muslim-American immigrant” with “Social Media Savvy” who was “a wave of anti-establishment sentiment to a shocking victory.” That is a wiffel for an extremist: “Anti-establishment.”
Co-host Vladimir Duthiers almost endorsed the winning Democrat: “Meeting people where they are, listening to them and have solutions that, according to them, speak to their future, is incredibly powerful.”
City Runned Supermarkets, Defundering Police, Safe Injection Sites: What about the next potential mayor of NYC
On NBC’s “Today”, reporter Emilie Ikeda defines this candidate as purely on the left side of Cuomo: “Mamdani ran left of Cuomo, focused on affordability and pushing populist ideas, including free public buses, huisefreezes and representators on the richness and representatives. And representatives and representatives and representatives and representatives and representatives and representatives and representatives, Ocasio-Cortez, the success of Mamdani, indicates a potential ideological and generation shift within the party. ”
An ideological shift to the limit? They couldn’t say that. But they broadcast Mamdani to expose “Donald Trump’s fascism” without any comments or correction.
Only ABC’s Katersky called Mamdani vaguely ‘confronted with criticism of his anti-Israeli rhetoric’. Nobody noticed that he has released a rap song with the name “Salaam” in which he praises the “Holy Land Five”, which have been convicted of accelerating millions of dollars to Hamas.
DEM Socialist’s NYC Primary Signal Signals ‘Generational’ Shift in Democratic Party, say Strategen
Mamdani hates Israel and founded his campus chapter of students for Justice in Palestine at the Bowdoin College in the years 2010 and introduced a controversial bill as a state assembly to get rid of the non -profit status of organizations from organizations with any links to Israeli settlements. His opponents will make this a problem, even if the networks cannot handle it.

The “PBS News Hour” turned to Errol Louis for analysis on Wednesday evening, which failed in various democratic primary campaigns for the New York City Council. Amna Nawaz, a Pakistani-American Muslim, raised the dreaded right winger and their ugliness: “Errol, we have also seen a number of pretty ugly attacks that are aroused in response to Mamdani’s victory. That includes attacks. He would be the first Muslimmoslims. Charlie Kirk. He wrote: ‘Twenty -four years ago, a group of Muslims killed 2,753 people on 9/11. Now a Muslim socialist is on pace to run New York City. ‘What does this all mean for the kind of campaign that you could see ahead? “Louis said:” Hate and division don’t work. ”

PBS did not succeed in calling Mamdani ‘extreme left’, but a new newsbust study by Bill d’Agostino described the PBS pattern. From January 21 to June 21, the network funded by the taxpayer spoke only three times about the “far left” and the “far right” 127 times and an absurd 42-to-one ratio.

Could a mayor Mamdani fail? The Chicago Tribune, which Joe Biden ended in 2020, recently run an editorial entitled “New Yorkers, Take It from Chicago – we have seen this film before and the end is not beautiful.” The newspaper wrote: “Most of Mamdani’s ideas are shared (at least in principle) by Mayor Brandon Johnson, and many of them are popular in blue cities. But experience has taught us that extreme left-wing candidates do not provide effective or popular municipal executives in today’s stressful economy.”
Just as the networks are not really interested in how Brandon Johnson perform in Chicago, nobody can expect them to be critical of Zohran Mamdani. The moon banks of Democrats have walked deep -blue cities for 50 years or more, and no one in these networks will hold them responsible, just as more than democratic voters. They keep that “accountability” interview for Republicans.
