Donald Trump’s mind has been wandering for a long time. It has gotten to the point where his White House staff doesn’t release him much anymore and mostly lets him sit in the White House while the government’s sycophantic press asks questions and lets the president ramble.
The American people don’t often get to see Trump in the wild, because when he’s unleashed in front of a crowd in a room, the results are often not pretty. These events show the American people the declining state of Trump’s cognitive skills.
Republicans in Congress plan to use Trump as a major part of their efforts to maintain majorities in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
However, if what happened in Michigan was any indication of what Trump brings to the table in 2026, Republicans would be better off telling him to stay on the golf course.
Here’s what Trump had to say about affordability: “I will present more plans to bring back affordability, and remember this is a false word from the Democrats. The prices were too high. They caused the high price.”
According to Trump, affordability is still a false democratic hoax.
Did you know that food prices are falling rapidly?
Grocery prices aren’t falling fast, but Trump says they are: “Grocery prices are falling fast. Rents are down. Airfares are down. Hotel rates are down. Cell phone prices are down, and we’re just getting started.”
These are such obvious lies, and the American people know they are not true because the American people pay rent and buy groceries.
Trump ranted about things that had nothing to do with the economy.
