Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded that Western countries take immediate action to combat anti-Semitism and ensure the safety of Jews around the world.
“I demand that Western governments do what is necessary to combat anti-Semitism and provide the required safety and security to Jewish communities around the world,” he said, according to the Prime Minister’s Office, which published the English translation of the comments Netanyahu made in Hebrew in a video posted on Tuesday.
“They would do well to heed our warnings. I demand action from them – now,” he added.

Netanyahu’s demand came in the wake of Sunday’s horrific terror attack in Australia.
That attack was “deliberately targeted against the Jewish community on the first day of Hanukkah,” Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said. has noted.
