Disney Cruise Line’s seventh ship will make its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 20, 2025.
Disney Cruise Line’s seventh ship is preparing to depart on its maiden voyage Thursday.
The christening of Disney Destiny took place on Monday at its home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It included a drone show lasting over 10 minutes.
“The Disney Cruise Line team, along with our Disney Imagineers, have invested years of their expertise, creativity and dedication into this beautiful ship,” said Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, in a statement. “They have created something truly spectacular.”
The newest ship in the fleet features heroes and villains from Disney, Pixar and Marvel films.

During the first season, Disney Destiny will sail four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and the western Caribbean.
Guests on board the ship can dine at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, Worlds of Marvel and 1923 restaurants on a rotating basis.

For breakfast and lunch, unlimited options are available at Marceline Market, named after Walt Disney’s birthplace in Missouri. Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods offers barbecue, Mexican, pizza, grill and dessert bars at select times throughout the day.

While there’s plenty for the kids to do on board – 10 pools and water play areas, including the AquaMouse – adults also have exclusive dining, lounge and deck options.

Disney Cruise Line is in the midst of a massive expansion and plans to have thirteen ships in its fleet by 2031. The next launch will be the Disney Adventure, homeported in Singapore in March 2026.
