Former Walt Disney Company CEO Michael Eisner destroyed the indefinite suspension of his former company of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“On Friday.
In an X-post, Eisner claimed that the Federal Government put pressure on Disney to suspend the ABC Late-Night Show, suggesting that it was an attack on free speech. He also wondered why more people did not stand up against this supposed government pressure.
“Where did all leadership go? Without not for university presidents, law firm management partners and chief managers of companies standing up against bullies, that will then perform for the first amendment?” Eisner wrote.

Eisner, who was CEO of Disney from 1984 to 2005, published the position in response to Disney who pulled Jimmy Kimmel late in the evening on Wednesday. The parent company of ABC made the decision after Kimmel had praised a major recoil for his statements about the suspected murderer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
During his late-night opening monologue on Monday, Kimmel apparently suggested that Kirk’s suspected murderer, Tyler Robinson, was one MAGA -SupporterDespite reports, he had a left -wing ideology. After the host’s comments, the indignation on social media grew.

He also suggested that there were potential “roads” that could pursue the FCC to keep ABC responsible for them.

Shortly thereafter, the Nexstar Media Group and Sinclair said, which have hundreds of TV stations, that they would provide the Kimmel program on their ABC branches. Shortly thereafter, Disney announced that the Kimmel show would be ‘indefinited’.
