The American trade representative Jamieson Greer said that there may be a brief expansion of the deadline of September 17, while berry added that “it would not have been extended without a framework.”
Bessent said earlier that China concessions from the US was looking for trade and technology policy in exchange for the repulsion of Tiktok.
“Our Chinese counterparts have come with a very aggressive question,” said Bessent, while the Minister of Finance added, “we are not willing to sacrifice national security for an app for social media.”
Trump took his truth to the social platform to say that “the big trade meeting in Europe between the United States of America and China has gone very well! It will be closed soon.”
“A deal was also closed in a ‘particular’ company that really wanted to save young people in our country. They will be very happy! I will speak to President Xi on Friday,” Trump added. “The relationship remains very strong !!!”
