“In real time we heard from familiar local sources that Hamas intended to hurry the site. We also received credible information that Hamas agents were planning to infiltrate only women’s divisions dressed as women.”
As a result, GHF rejected distribution sites on all distribution sites on Friday on all distribution sites. Fay said that the disruption was “not a choice we want to make. It is a decision that is forced by Hamas,” adding it: “It does not threaten us alone. They threaten their own people. The women of Gaza who just try to feed their children are intimidated and are represented by the group that claims them.
Fay accused Hamas of spreading false information, “people tell that [Secure Distribution Site Three] Will be closed next week. “He said that the organization is not sure whether this means that Hamas is planning to attack the site.

“People are visibly scared,” Fay said about rumors and change in the pace. “They ask the same question that we are: why the only operation that feeds people on scale in Gaza?”
Hamas has previously attacked GHF sites. In July, two veterans were attacked by GHF with grenades of Iranian descent, often used by Hamas while offering help.
Fay said that GHF has had to deal with increased pressure at his locations since the Israeli defense forces started their offensive against Gaza City. Fay says that the organization has seen an increase in traffic of 15% -20% in recent days. “Many have never been to our sites. They are not familiar with our process and creates that unfamiliarity. Not violence, but an increased disorder.”

Fay called on international organizations and the United Nations to collaborate with GHF “So food reaches people, not Hamas.”
Currently, according to the UN Office for Project Services, 5,511 trucks with Gaza have been intercepted since 19 May. Only 938 trucks (14.5%) have arrived at their intended destinations during this period.
Since starting the activities in May, GHF has, according to the group, divided more than 161 million meals, including 1 million today.
